  1. Hey, Jeremy. Just found your podcast thanks to the Slovak Spectator. I haven’t listened to it yet, but I’m interested in your story. My name is Chris Helton, I’m from KY originally, and I’ve lived in SK since 2004 (been coming here since 2001). I live in Kosice where, like you, I teach English. My wife Antonia is Slovak and we’re raising three wonderful boys in an East Slovak village. Funny enough, my brother-in-law lives in Trencin and I’ve been there many times. You seem to address some interesting issues, like integration of foreigners and their involvement (wanted or unwanted) in their communities. SK sure is an interesting place. I’ve always said it’s like the “Hidden Kingdom of Tibet” at the dawn of the 20th century. Anyway, just wanted to say hi. ‘Preciate ya. Chris

    1. Hi Chris, thanks for reaching out! You’re right, Slovakia is more interesting than I was expecting when I first came. Maybe an email exchange would be better for a chat. nsapapodcast@gmail.com
